Mordant
September 2008 – October 2008
The Project
My team developed Mordant during the first five weeks of our first term of the Masters of Digital Media program. Our task was to develop a compelling interactive story with multiple narrative threads.
“Inspired by true events, Mordant explores the nature of inspiration and love, suffering and redemption. Carson, our central character, is swept from her life of familiar hardship to artistic opportunity through a chance encounter with an art gallery owner; ultimately, she is forced to chose between the life she knows on the street and the unknown world of material success.” — Ryan Nadel, Writer, Mordant
My Role
My primary responsibility on the five-person Mordant team was creating the interactive story framework to power Mordant. I also took part in story and idea development and played the part of the gallery owner in the story.
